I do mostly report work for the end users of an application that is written in Foxpro and uses SQL Server for the database. This app started in Foxbase in '89 and moved to Foxpro then SQL. I don't go to the local meetings as I don't get much out of them, not being an application developer.

Hmmmm. Well, I don't do reports so you know something that I don't < s >. Since you do programming, you may find the meetings useful. You really should go to one and then decide whether you get something out of it < s >.
