Well there's a thing called freedom of speech. This opens the door to potential abuse. So starting from there who has the right to decide what's right and what's not. Depending on one's beliefs, religions or whatever a discussion could be ruled wrong or right.

If I'm accused of something I can always give excuses after defending myself saying that I did'nt know what I said would offend somebody or that something I said was taken out of context.

I guess that's why there is a twit filter on the UT. That way every user can decide on which user usually says things that could be offensive.
