I have a grid and in this grid one of the columns has as a controlsource a line like that:


iif(seek(gridsourcearea.code, "anotherarea", "order"), anotherarea.field, space(40))

in some grids, the line above works well, giving the value of one of the fields on another table. But, in another grids, the grid appear blank, showing nothing at all (no records or columns). If I remove the column that gets data from another table, the grid is ok. I don't want to create a view or a query with that column as a source for the grid.

Anyone knows how to make that code works?
