No indexes other than cdx files are used in this app. I originally thought that the problem was due to a field name with the same name as the index tag but after changing the index tag name from recnum to recnum the problem persisted. The code I supplied solves the problem but I sure would like to know the how and why of this...
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
