I had the same experience from my Advisor articles. I'd get emails from people who didn't want to spend the time typing in the code provided.

>I do post snippets from the books in a lot of my answers. As it just so happens, the xml class has far to much code and metadata (and explanation on how to configure the metadata) to sensibly be put into a message here < s >.

That's a terrific class. If I didn't have the book, these days I'd want to buy if only for that.

>Frankly, I'm astounded that the response in terms of sales has been so weak. IMV, it's a must have (along with KiloFox).

>Thanks for the kind words. Personally, I was surprised by the weak MegaFox sales as well. In many ways, I feel that its content is much better than the stuff in KiloFox. I know that I certainly learned a lot more writing MegaFox < s >. From the feedback I've gotten here, it appears that many people mistakenly believe that MegaFox is just the second addition of KiloFox with more of the same stuff. They don't realize that the content is totally different because of the similarities in the titles.

MegaFox, IMHO, is better than KiloFox. Not that KiloFox wasn't any good. There are a ton of great ideas there. MegaFox, if only for this one reason, is better because it can "open eyes" to the possibilities beyond Fox. Sure, KiloFox can do the same. This is just an opinion, but MegaFox shows what can be accomplished when you think "outside the box". In short, both are valuable, but MegaFox, IMV, is more so because of the possibilities it opens up.
George
