When I try to add this one database to my project (or even just a new project) it does that fine. When I click on the "+" to expand the database to see the tables and such it just freezes up the Foxpro and I have to end task on it.

If I open the database in question exclusive (which works), then validate database their are thousands of files attached to the database that are no longer existant on the hard drive. These are temp files and I tried to validate with the recover option but I can't sit here for days to remove them all from the database when prompted for each table.

Packing the database works without error but I still can't expand the database once added to a Project.

This database I need to work with is one that I didn't create, a 3rd party did in Visual Foxpro 6, which is what I'm working with. I'm trying to attached to this database becuase my client wants me to create reports instead of the company who original made the database and EXE that uses it.

I did try coping the .dct (memo) and .dcx (index) from another database that was located in another directory becuase it's supposed to be the exact same (excluding data in tables) but just used for a "Sample" company in the software. All other databases in this 3rd party work in projects fine.

I talked to this other company they said this database I'm trying to add to my project is corrupt but just not enough for their software to stop working and I told them I was well aware of that. They don't really seem to want to fix anything since their software still functioning.

Any ideas?
