It turns out that the KEYBOARD '{F4}' is to blame for the dropdown choices to be out of sync with the displayvalue. If I remove that line from the gotfocus event, it is in sync when the dropdown button is clicked, however, obviously, the list does not automatically appear when the control gets focus by tabbing to or clicking the control. Hmmm... are there any other ways to get this to happen or should I abandon trying to get this functionality?
