You didn't show or explain where the update takes place in the code, that should be where I'd look first.

I have a question which should clear things up for me and it's:

It seems to me you would have saved time and effort had you designed it with a remote view (VFP 6 or 7) instead or cursoradapter (VFP 8) and a requery call in RV case or cursorfill call could have done the job. why did you go another route?
