I haven't followed through on some articles I've read about the state of Borland. But one of them stated that Borland was going to get out of the compiler market and concentrate on tools, such as their replacement .Net IDE.

>>I do not plan on migrating anytime soon, but if I did it would probally be to Delphi/Kylix and be platform independant, possibly Java, but there IDE needs lots of work yet. I can easily hold out in VFP for several years, so I just plan to sit back and watch the other developers thrash out the early versions :)

>I haven't kept up with it, but I do believe Kylix has kind of "withered on the vine" so to speak. I bought V3 a couple of years ago (3-4) and I notice it hasn't really been upgraded since then. And it was far from perfect, so there was certainly room for additional versions.
