Actually, I meant that they didn't even invite us to submit sessions last year < s >. But I have no reason to think that they will invite us to submit this year either < s >.

Don't know why. But Andy and I are were in very good company. They asked Drew Speedie to submit last year and then rejected his session proposals. Go figure. Especially when Drew is always right up there in the top 10 (usually in the top 5 and often number 1) speakers.
