I should stick to something I know, like trying to figure out who invented the CoatHanger:

or - was it Mr. Hanger

I read a story about Vlad (the impaler). Vlad had a bunch villagers he was on the outs with stuck on his impaling poles. A friend came over and complained about the stench - so - Vlad stuck him on a pole a little higher than the rest so he would not have to smell the others on the shorter stakes!

That's what I call 'old world' hospitality!
