I went to the contacts screen in Outlook and it doesn't let you hightlight anything unless there's something actually there, this is the way I would expect it to behave, I don't know any programs that let you highlight without some characters actually being there. I guess I didn't make it clear that the textbox is empty and if I single click in the middle of it, it goes to the beginning which is good but it lets me (which it shouldn't) highlight right in the middle of the "empty" textbox and then I can start typing. Is this a "foxpro" only non-windows feauture? for me it seems like a bug, why would it let me highlight when the textbox is empty? Maybe I'm missing something?
