Yeah, that's my other option. First I'll try to change the code and see if it makes a difference. Maybe oDoc.SaveAs() will work better. If not, then I'll have to suggest upgrading the OS (and coincidently likely the Novel client software), but that's a last resort. Both Word 2002 and VFP (this one is 6 sp5) are supposed to run properly on Win98, so I hesitate to do that only to find out afterward that it wasn't the answer.
