William,

you could register for a demo (use Sign In link from the main page). Access URL with password will be sent to you immidiately.

When you acess demo site, all you see was developed with VFP. Arnica offers the first complete web platform for VFP developers to build powerful web-based enterpsise strength data driven systems. It includes web portal, web report, web forms, link generator, identity management, etc.

The main idea is to build a web-portal based virtual applications, which consist of loosely coupled objects. The life cycle of individual object does not affects the life cycle of the system in whole. Objects carry on only business logic and do NOT implement any infrustrucure-level services, such as personilization, security, integration, authentication, and so on. This makes objects very simple and the whole development processes is accelerated dramatically. In the mean time, web-platform components implement infrastructure features, for example:

web portal - imlements integration, content processing and syndication, personilization
identity management (Arnica UnifiedLogon) - implements authentication, authorization, personilization, etc.
link server - implements menu systems,
etc.

Arnica web platform also allows VFP developers to integrate VFP code with C# and VB.NET code in the same solution (for example, in the same report). Also, it gives VFP developers many advantages over other devlopement environments (such as Java, PHP, C#, and others), for example:

- devleopment using only browser, with no VFP required to be installed on the developer workstation (VFP code is entered in a browser, compiled and deployed on the fly on a server-side)
- VFP debugging using only browser
- powerful web-based VFP tracing
- detailed web-based VFP error logging
- HTTP clustering with virtually unlimited sceleability of VFP components
and others.

Igor.
