So far, I don't have complaints of the Universal Thread. However, I have only posed a few, and relatively simple, questions, since I am just starting.

Searching Google for java discussion forum gives a lot of places; the first hit, from Sun, seems interesting (Sun is the company that developed Java).

Also, usenet discussion groups also known by the protocol name: NNTP) have some groups related to Java. If your Internet provider doesn't support NNTP, you can access them through Google (http://groups.google.com).
