hi! I've a grid on a form that runs throughout a big engineering firm. Basically each row in the grid is a seperate job. I chose to use optimistic table buffering so users could see the data almost constantly. I set up a timer event so the grid refreshes regularly when not in edit mode.

Since its extremley unlikely two people would edit the same job at the same time optimistic table buffering is fine.

The jobs needed to be ordered on the grid by required date ie oldest first. Sometimes they dont have an actual date just a week no, so I added an extra field that would work out a date if just a week number was entered.

To my problem: Sometimes when the data is changed on a users machine that data gets changed back again, if I do the same changes using the source code it never fails to work? I'm user all users are using the latest compile exe.

How do you go about debugging somthing like this?
