In the vb project, I used the databinding property on the dropdownlist which set the datasource = dsFiyears.Tables("fi_years"). I tried to same theory here in the c# project, but it's not working. I have the dataset defined in my code-behind. Let me know if you need more. Thought this would've smacked me in the face by now...what am I missing?
