I have an older (large) FPW2.6 application that's been running fine for years. About two weeks ago, we started having all sorts of data integrity problems. Initially I thought it was a bad CDX, or TAG in a CDX so I copied all the data to another server, rebuilt each index individualy and copied all the data back with the new CDX files.

That did not resolve the problem.

Yesterday, I moved the application to another server, and *poof* just like that the data integrity problems are gone, but now the app is running *very* slowly. What took seconds on the NAS server, is taking minutes as in *many* minutes on the 'standard' server. The NAS is a single processor device, this server is a dual processor, similar memory, drive speeds, NIC bandwidth etc...

Anyone else experienced this?

I'm working with all possible speed to get a conversion done and in place but I'd like to have more than a couple days of testing and the pressure is on.

Any thoughts?

-Bill
