I just tested this from a fresh form and it works there too, I'm hoping someone can explain it. Anwyay, using VFP8. Created a new form, drop a textbox and a command button on it. text1.format = 'ktr', text1.inputmask = '999/ 999- 9999'. Command button has a 1 line click event. "thisform.text1.value = ''". Run the form, put in anything in the textbox, any junk phone # will do. Click the button, start typing in the textbox again. After I get past the first 3 numbers, it loads whatever the last value was automagically. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks,
