>Hi again, I got another concern. We are trying to find all the loopholes before deploying the system. When I put the table with an index in the data environment, all goes well, but it seems that when there are instances when the computer shuts down while the system is running or the computer crashes , the fpt file of the table gets damaged. Is there any way to protect the system from such a problem? or whenever the fpt file is damaged, what is the best solution to fix this problem internally in the system without our programmers going to the site?

Hi Stephanie. I have been using FoxFix for a few months and think its really worth the money. http://www.xitech-europe.co.uk. Its a dll which you load in your app and it can be set to automatically fix table and memo file header problems, amongst other options, as your app runs. Royalty free distribution.
