>How do people create ActiveX .OCX controls (UserControl) these days? I know it's relatively simple with VB6, but wondered if it can be done with VB .NET, or are you stuck with either VB6 or C++.NET?
Write the application using Visual C++ and statically link the libraries so you don't have dependencies.
It is relatively easy to accomplish, and there is even and MFC template for it.
Choose MFC/ ActiveX Control from the studio project types.
