You might want to take a look at:

It pretty much does what you want, but it has a few drawbacks. 1) It hasn't been changed in several years - so it doesn't seem like the developer is changing it any longer. 2) I am not even sure the developer is still around, as I have not been able to get a responce from him with any questions. If he is around, he hiding from me... :).

On the plus side, 1) You get a full royalty free license. 2) you get full source code - so I just updated the product my self - and continue to do that. 3) Its extremely easy to integrate in your VFP app. 4) Its pretty much bug free cause its been around so long (I think I have used one version or another for nearly 10 years).

You can also get a end user's Query Guide with it that will teach your end users how to use it. I found that I have to step a person through the use of it the first time if they are building their own report, then they are usually OK on their own. I am finding out they can build their own filters without any assistance.

I doubt this product is as good as what Doug has, but in my situation my clients would just not pay for a report writer add on like Doug is offering.
