Try temporary disable anti-virus software to see if it's resposible.

>This is a strait forward VFP8 application running in the following setup. The data files is on a XPpro server and the PC's(workstations) run WIN98. The App start and see the path to the data files but just hangs and stop responding. It also some times when it does start hangs the workstation that is busy working. They also run Pastel Partner 2004 which use a PERVASIVE data engine in the same manner. I must also mention that there were still a VFP6 app on the workstations which I have now uninstall and must still monitor the response. Has anybody experience this before? Any advise will be appreciated.
