The problem was that the DLL might have been installed in
ifferent locations on different PC's. So using a path name
would not work.

Actually, if you are distributing an exe to your client, yes it would < s >. The hard-coded path in the DEFINE CLASS statement is a compile time issue. So if you build an exe to distribute to your client, this is not an issue.

Yep. That is why I asked you what you were trying to accomplish. And this is the best way to specify the interface if you are sharing source code with other developers. That is the way I do it for the sample code that I distribute with my conference sessions < s >.
