Using VFP8-SP1/MereMortals F/W ver. 8 ---

I have a desktop application that uses all LOCAL views to access data. I am using InstallShield Express (VFP version) to create the installation CD.

When this is installed on Client PCs, the application loads with NO problem and also loads and displays forms, again, no problem. However, no data access is available. The forms that should be populated with data are empty. The forms that initialize views BEFORE they display are giving errors like "ALIAS v_someview not found".

Yes, I've checked (especially on Win2000 PCs) to make sure the file attributes are NOT READONLY. They aren't. InstallShield seems to do a good job in resetting those during the installation.

Anyone run into this or have some ideas about it?
