Each version of VFP has been better and more stable than the previous version....and I know for a fact that bugs that have been in there for a long time (some even back to 2x) have been fixed in past releases.

As for the beta, VFP has been on an 18 month schedule for the past few versions and it appeared for a time that Europa would be also...until MS stated that the beta period would be extended to allow more testing.

As for June, we don't know if that will be at the end or the beginning or the middle of the official beta testing. I suspect, based on conference schedules and past history, that it will be sometime in the middle of the official beta cycle. I'm guessing that we'll see the Europa release sometime around September to October. This would put the release at about 20-21 months after VFP 8.

>It would be great if they concentrate more on fixing old issues than rubber-stamping new versions with "good ol' bugs".
>It seems that MS slightly refuse their "Upgrade'o'Die" politics at least for some products. But so fast new beta? Most likely it will be some kind of transient version like VFP7.
>IMHO there are nothing revolutionary in those features described in Mr Levy's letters. This could be good as service pack not as new version.
