How many fonts are in you font folder? Windows won't let you exceed 1024.

The first time I saw this I had tried to install all of Corel's fonts and used up the limit. Then I couldn't add the font I needed. I wiped out the fonts in the fonts folder and reinstalled the OS.

You can also identify the font that is being used and remove it. When you run help windows will find another, hopefully more legible font. Windows remembers the substitution. (never did find where it stores it)<s> Has something to do with java and CSS (Cascading Style Sheet).
Regards,

Mike
