I think what Luis is asking is more your personal opinion here - not the official MS press release. Asked a different way would be: would you recommend VFP to a person just starting out in programming?
Personally the answer is irrelevant to me as I will buy every version of VFP that MS chooses to make! But it would be interesting to hear your opinion.
