Hello,

I have following problem: I have a header (A) and detail (B) table that are part of a sql database. The detail table contains a product id. The description of the product is found in a table (C) that is part of a linked server. So table C does not exist in the sql database.
I want to create a query that gives me all product id's and their description for a certain header record. I already tried several tricks with the openquery() command but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have an idea ??
