Hi,

I have a problem. I ve created a program that is used on 5 computers. Each computer has an other printer installed. When i print the report with "report form myreport to printer prompt noconsole" the user can choose the right printer an there is no problem.

Now a have created a small text file on each computer containing the name of the printer for this computer so the user doesnt has to choose the right printer.
so somewhere in my programe i read the printer name and then i do :
set printer to cMyPrinterName report form myreport to printer noconsole.

The strange thing is that the layout on the report is for some computer totaly wrong.

When i print the report on the same computer choosing the good printer with the prompt clause in de syntax the reports sorts with the right layout....

Whats going on here ????
