He asked about the state of VFP at Microsoft. I told him that VFP.Next is under development and that changes have been made in the past couple of versions to its SQL statements to make them more standards compliant.
In addition, many members of my group are using SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and others. We also have one member who is a professor at Weber State University and actually uses VFP in his classes.

He also has a bit different look on the relational model than CODD and DATE have and is regarded as a SQL GURU. Though I doubt he knows much of VFPs SQL implementation I surely would recommend anyone to attend this session.
