Maybe that's because XP uses new alpha-blending bitmaps with additional alpha (transparency) channel?
In my case, images appear with incorrect colors after doing some editing on form, maybe it's my local problem.

BTW, I don't like that mixed state. This may confuse the user to never click a button which seems disabled. Maybe it's better to show greyscale pictures to indicate the mixed state.

I don't know RapoZine. Is it other name for UT Magazine?
I believe weekend at the beach is more important than my article. ;-) BTW the foto you can see now was made last summer at the club-music festival on the beach.
