hmmm, that's very weird indeed. I've actually seen that behavior a while ago, but I can't remember if I figured that out. It's nasty... I hope you find your way to fixing this. :)

When that failed, I repaired the VFP8 installation to no avail. Then I re ran the SP1 install still to no avail. I guess I am going to have to completely uninstall it and start over. I noticed something though today. I ran my spykiller software and when it started it initiated the vfp8 install... interesting.
