Now I have more info on the product. First let me say that it looks like they are in trouble. They closed the US office which must of had some sort of independance from the main group which is in Germany. The German group is buying the assest of the US group and is having trouble supporting the current users. The user group appears to want the product to go open source for fear they will lose the product but of course the company is saying no.

There are two groups those that use xbase ++ and thoses that want the visual product for linux and .net visual xbase++ 2.0. I got a call from the US office (the german owners) and they suggest that someone will call me next week from tech support. The current cost for the product is $689.00 xbase++ with a free download of the visual product beta.
