I've seen some utilities that are automating that. Rick has done some good work on that. For me, because of several issues, and surely that one, I turned into .NET for Web Service. It simply is a matter of uploading two DLL files on the server across FTP and the next hit will have the new version of the Web Service to respond. That is quite powerful. Note, that I do use a lot of VFP when dealing with Web Service also even if I have a .NET Web Service wrapper class which would call VFP on every hit to query for the data.
