Error 7399 OLE DB provider 'VFPOLEDB' reported an error.

I tried this with my copy of the VFP sample data and got the same error message. (So I've seen this with Fox 2.x free tables, one of my own DBC's, and now the VFP Sample Data.) I'm choosing the OLE DB provider for FoxPro when I create the Linked server in EM. I am only filling in the provider string (with the samples from this thread. All otehr fields are blank whencreating the Linked server. Is this the right thing to do?

Interestingly, I can create a linked server to my VFPDatabase using the "OLE DB provider for ODBC" and a DSN. (The same one that's failing with the VFP OLE DB provider.)
