Like go to file menu open a file and print that file. What is the best way to automate a VFP 6.0 application?

Hello Ali -
AutoManual would do that, but the developer is not around these days, and can not find any download area for his package .

AutoMate from UniSyn Technologies is a good keystroke thrower - I use it in production datacenters for many different things with VFP. There are other 'keyboard throwers' out there - I settled on AutoMate a few years back.

BUT ? If you want to 'get to' the App | Form | object | value inside a VFP application [you mentioned version 6?] it is not that easy from inside another application using what one think might be 'standard' object referencing.

If you wanted to do it from a VFP application and could CALL the 2nd VFP application from INSIDE the first one - you have some object things available to you there for object referencing . Maybe.

mondo regards [Bill]
