Carolines suggestion is a good one, IMO. However, if you want to, you can simply use the view in the init as you would any table, then set the rowsource to the alias. Of course, you have to be sure to have your parameter defined at the time. Say it's "?thisform.cust_id" or something like that, and if you set the value in the init of the form, consider that the parameter won't be available until after the form loads.
