1. Did you have any clients recently replace their Windows NT/2000 File Servers with Linux?

2. Do you have a linux server in your working space?

3. Have you attempted to store any VFP data on a samba share in linux ?

4. Have you written or used any retrieval mechanisms on linux servers to get to vfp data?

5. Have you used any Windows Server <-> Linux Server odbc Bridges to serve up vfp data on linux applications ?

6. Have you seen, written or used any codebase for providing RPC, Corba or COM interoperability with VFP to linux OS services ?

7. Are you utiling a linux-based CVS file repository for your VFP source code? [yes/no]

1. If MS offered for sale a VFP runtime that was linux specific and came with its own MS SKU # - would you buy it, refer your customers to buy it, resell it through your own firm ?

c. resell it.

2. Do you have an interest in running VFP-compiled apps on a linux/KDE desktop?
a. Yes
b. No
c. Clients are pushing for it.
d. If no legal barriers, I would push my clients to do it.
