Have you used ANY Web application lately? <g> This is how most Web applications work. Unless you want to build a scripted application that pulls data via XML into the HTML layer you will post back and that will ALWAYS cause the page to redraw. This is just how Web applications work...
The Smart Nav stuff works on some limited stuff, but I doubt it's what you're looking for. Anything that retreives data from the server will cause the page to repost.
