I want to register a DLL multiple times with a different moniker. As App1.FindFile, App2.FindFile, etc. Making copies of the project file and building is a royal PIA, especially when I want to change the code and have to do it all over again. However, it would appear that the vbr file controls most of this. The registered moniker and Component IDs (GUIDs) are in the vbr file.

Does anybody have any experience in hacking the vbr file? And, is this enough to accomplish what I want. Time permitting, I am going to compare vbr outputs from two copies of the project and see what kind of trouble I can get into.
