Under VFP 3/5/6/7 you must remote view in DBC. Under VFP you can use Cursor Adapter. CA has support for remaping fields.

>is there any way to define the field type and length for those cursor get from a backend MSSQL server by using the sqlexec command ? ( because I have some field in the table the field type converted to memo field and all the chinese charater can't show properly. but I use remote view and define it to charater then the field is work fine)
