You need to find the specific font that is being used and remove it from the fonts folder. Look at the font's characters and find one that is unusual and then find it browsing the fonts folder. You will probably be able to put it back once it has been substituted.

Do you have a backup?

The other thing you could try is to find references to VFP in the registry and remove them prior to reinstalling VFP. Dangerous though. Be sure to backup first.

>Leave it to me to make an even worse mess of this. I deleted all the fonts that I could. There were some that were in use by windows. I then reloaded the windows fronts from a new XP install. The help is working fine now, but my FoxPro is messed up. The project manager screen has a large font on the tabs and if I go to modify a table structure the table field names and attributes are in this same large font. They overlap all over the place.
