Remember that many here speak or understand a very basic english. So this could probably be the case with someone that apparently got your name either from the UT or elsewhere.

Did you try to send a reply on that e-mail asking for more details?

Besides that you really don't seem to have enough to even begin to formulate a reply to that letter.
