Anyone ever experienced this - and know the best way to fix it?

On a report that has detail band that is 1 record long (it prints info on one line - like part number and date), and the detail records span more than one page, a line at the bottom of "some" of the pages doesn't even bother to print, but its amount is included in the group total.

The odd thing is, it seems like it should have printed at the top of the next page - but that didn't happen - the next page contains the next item to print on the detail band. In other words, the prior record did print at the bottom of the page where it should have, 1 record was skipped, and then the next record was printed on the next page.

I made the page footer a little bigger to force this to correct itself, but I wouldn't think this would be necessary.
