Personally I use Rich Simpson's Mind's Eye Report Engine Control which also can send emails directly. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for, it is really worth the price. I suggest you download the demo version, which is the release version with hard coded watermarks on the reports, and try it out. And the technical support is great.
