I have a 5 column grid with combo boxes in each column for input. The grid is based on an updatable cursor. On the Last combo box (col 5) if the user picks a specific value, I have an APPEND BLANK in the VALID method.

I want the focus then to go to the next row and rest on the combo box in column 1. I have tried GRID.COLUMN1.COMBO1.SETFOCUS(), and GRID.REFRESH(), but it won't go to the next row.

The cursor is not indexed. The cursor is selected. One weird note though, in my debugger, when this VALID trigger fires, the GRID.ACTIVEROW and GRID.ACTIVECOLUMN are RED 0's. I suspect that this means something, but I don't know. I am new to VFP. I would appreciate any help on this, my brain has been racked all afternoon on this one problem.
