Expess cannot be automated so you'd have to send it through MAPI - but I think you may have confirmation dialogs popping up (depending on the version).

You should instead send it using SMTP to the customers current mail server. You don't need the whole WebConnect framework to do this - only a piece of it which is available as "West Wind Internet Protocols" (and also with a few more features as "West Wind Internet & Client Tools").
