Hi
I am writing software to check what apps are being run on other machines on network - I also report explorer version, machine memory, service pack and operating system
To do this I need to be logged onto all network machines as an administrator
and to be able to access their registries
Works fine when the target m/c is running Win2k
But when running WinXP on a target machine I have problems - to try and resolve the problem I use windows explorer with a path of \\targetmachine\c$ to access the admin share and its asks me for the password for a guest user on the target machine - but I have admin rights on the target
What am I doing wrong
