There is a bug in VFP 5.0 related to using a pageframe and an editbox on the same form. This bug is described in the MS KB. If you manipulate SelStart or SelLength in the editbox, the form will start to display out-of-place visual components (e.g., controls, etc). This bug has been fixed in VFP5.0a.
